This Halstead Plain human effigy vessel was found in the village area of the Ocmulgee Mound site near Macon, Gerogia. The orifice is in the back fo the head. It is 4 ½” tall and would have likely been 8” tall if it were complete. The facial expression and hair treatment show superb artistic expression. For the full story on Ocumlgee Mound see page 173.
